CVV2 and CVC2 is a 3-digit security code on the back of your debit/credit card (the last 3 digits).

8. I noticed fraudulent activities. What should I do?

9. Is it possible to change the phone number after the payment is made?

The payment details (i.e. phone number and amount) may be modified only before the payment is completed. After the payment was successfully performed, no changes can be made.

To avoid errors, please check your phone number and amount before submitting the payment form.

10. The payment was successful. However I did not receive the recharge. What should I do?

In case you did not receive the credit or data you requested, please contact us via email (support@solid.ng) or WhatsApp (0-909-837-12-56).

In case the delay was caused by a technical issue, we will complete the operation as soon as possible.

If the credit cannot be added to your balance, the payment will be refunded. Note that your bank account will be credited within three business days from the date of refund.

11. Why do I need to enter Name on card?

Full name on card is one of the required fields that guarantees payment security and helps prevent fraudulent transactions.

2. Is it secure to enter my card details on Naija Pay?

The payment form and technology used by Naija Pay comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) Level 1. All the information entered to our payment form is encrypted. Your phone or bank details are NEVER shared with anyone.

3. It is required to enter my PIN in the payment form. Is it secure?

Yes, it is 100% secure. All the information you enter to the payment form is encrypted. Neither our employees nor third parties know your PIN (or any other card details).

4. How does Naija Pay guarantee my security?

We use two-factor authentication in accordance with Nigerian legislation. Each transaction is completed only after the correct bank details are inserted and the transaction is confirmed with the one-time password from SMS.

5. What is OTP / 3D secure?

3D secure is designed to make online transactions safer by authenticating a cardholder’s identity at the time of purchase. Each transaction is completed only after the payer enters an OTP (one-time password) received via SMS and confirms the payment. This step helps verify the cardholder’s identity and prevent fraudulent transactions.

6. How to complete the 3D Secure step?

After you enter your card details and initiate the payment (by pressing the “Pay” button) you will receive an SMS containing a verification code from your bank. The code must be entered in the dialog box to complete the payment.

Note: the verification code is only valid for 10 minutes, after 10 minutes it will expire. Please enter the one-time password as soon as you receive it to perform the payment successfully.
